HA Storage
Challenge
Companies managing large volumes of data need solutions that ensure continuous availability and high resilience, even in the event of critical hardware failures. Loss of data access or interruptions in processing can directly affect workflows and generate high costs.
Upnet solution
Our team has implemented a High Availability Storage, based on data replication between two separate servers. If one server becomes unavailable, data remains accessible on the backup server. Redundancy is complemented by the protection offered by RAID configuration, which ensures operation even in the event of disk failure.
This architecture has allowed us clear separation of storage from processing power, resulting in two dedicated clusters: one for High Availability Storage, and the other for processing power, where servers simply add their computing capacity to the client infrastructure.
Result
The customer benefits from a scalable and resilient infrastructure, where data is always available and processing resources can be expanded independently of the storage side. This separation provides flexibility, security and high efficiency in IT resource management.
