Challenge
A retail client with approximately 40 attendance points in the Republic of Moldova used dedicated internet connections in each location. This approach generated very high monthly costs, as well as difficult and fragmented network infrastructure management.
Upnet solution
After a detailed audit of the IT infrastructure, Upnet designed and implemented a new network topology, based on data transport services provided by local operators. We modified the network architecture, configured routing, firewalls and secure access. The new solution routes Internet traffic from all locations through headquarters, which has increased the level of control and security.
Result
The client was able to significantly reduce expenditure with Internet services paid to providers, while maintaining a more secure, manageable and scalable network. In addition, centralized access improved security and visibility over the entire IT infrastructure.
